Stroke Play Championship Results
The two-day major event began at Greystone in nearly perfect weather. It was concluded at Waverly Woods in intermittent rain showers. While nobody enjoys playing in the rain, at least we can say the amount of rain was much less than the amount forecasted.
Five members of the field of twenty had aggregate scores under par. Keelan Crosby finished in fifth place with a net score of 142. Rob Kline and Bobby Hammond tied for third place with a net score of 136. The tiebreaker for third place prize money of $25 was won by Bobby Hammond. Walter Quick and Carl Rebert tied for first place with a net score of 134. The tiebreaker was won by the Commish. Walter won the second place prize of $50. Rebert won the travelling trophy to be returned at next year's tournament and first pace prize of $75.
